Aileen (McNeely) Sherrill

Mrs. Aileen McNeely Sherrill, affectionately called “Mamus”, was born on September 26, 1932, to the late Pink McNeely and Flossie Hayes McNeely. Aileen attended the Mecklenburg School System. She worked with Charlotte Mecklenburg School System until she retired. Mamus loved everyone and treated everyone like family. Mamus joined Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church at an early age, where she served on the Usher Board, as a Sunday school teacher, and as a part of Missionary group #3. She was a faithful member until her health failed; she loved her church. She will be greatly missed. Aileen departed her life on November 10, 2018.
