Mr. Aldrick Ort Harrison Byers was born February 23, 1958 to the late Joseph Carl Byers and Mae Helen Byers. He passed away unexpectedly on January 21, 2022. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers; Joseph Carl Byers Jr., and Reuben Byers.
Ort graduated from Mooresville Senior High School in 1976 and went on to attend North Carolina A & T University in Greensboro, NC. He was a seasoned rigger, material handler, pipe fitter/hanger, nuclear power industry, and he also worked for various public utilities.
Ort was a devoted member of A Word in Season Ministry. He was passionate about Hot Rod Cars, working out, his motorcycles; and he was TO THE CORE a Pittsburg Steelers Fan!
He leaves to cherish memories; three brothers, Olando Carl Byers, Chauncey Emmitt Byers, and Chal Delaney Byers; his niece, Danielle Barbara; two first cousins, Phyllis Denise Morrison-Caldwell, Shawntee E. Morrison; a special relative, John D. Rawls; a special Goddaughter, Starr Dixon; and a special granddaughter, Brielle Herbin. He also leaves to cherish loving memories; two special moms, Jessie Bell Frontis and Rosa Bailey, and many other relatives and friends.
