Allean Virgina (Mayhew) Phifer McKee

Allean Virgina Mayhew Phifer McKee, daughter of the late James and Jannie Mayhew was born in Mooresville, NC on November 15, 1937 and departed March 27, 2019. She attended Dunbar School. She worked at Fibers Industries until she retired in 1996. She was an active wife, mother, and grandmother of 3 generations that was affectionately known as Mother. She was a cheerful giver to several ministries. Her hobbies included reading the newspaper, doing crosswords and growing flowers. Allean was preceded in death by her brothers Jimmy and Johnny Mayhew and two sons, Joe and Rodney (Pam) Phifer.
