Allen Wesley Lowery

     Allen Wesley Lowery was born on June 19, 1949. He was the son of the late Bennie & Mildred F. Lowery. He departed his life on September 17,2023 at the S. Mitchell Mack Hospice House. He was raised in Gastonia, NC.

     Allen was educated at the Morganton School for the deaf. He held various jobs during his lifetime. He was a man of many talents, and he loved the arts. He was a member of Beth Haven Baptist Church in Denver, NC. On August 10, 1991 Allen married the love of his life, Barbara Ann Turner.

     He leaves to cherish sweet memories of his life to his wife, Barbara Lowery; his two daughters, Mia Caldwell (Tony) and Latia Washington (Harvey); his precious grandson, Quincy Washington; his mother, Mildred Lowery; siblings, Mary Byrd, Patricia Gillespie (Nathaniel), Benny Ray Lowery, Sylvia Smith, Shelia Bryant, Tracy Lowery, Annisa Morton (Arthur Morton III); a brother in law, Ivory Turner (Doris) and sister in law, Tawanna Tucker), and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
