Ms. Anna Lue Pryor affectionately known as Lue was born on August 3, 1933 in Mecklenburg County. Lue was the daughter of the late Mancer Pryor and Flossie Alexander Pryor and the mother of the late Jimmy Pryor. She departed this earthly life into God’s arms, surrounded by family on June 16th, 2021, at Olde Knox Commons in Huntersville NC.
Lue received her education from Torrence Lytle School in Huntersville NC. She joined Huntersville Presbyterian church now, New Friendship Presbyterian at an early age.
Lue was a homemaker. She loved planting and gardening. She enjoyed canning foods from her garden and cooking delicious meals for her family. She loved spending time and teaching her children important life skills. She was a very humble, sweet but strong lady. She was willing to help anyone she could. She loved children and always had a house filled with love and laughter. Simply being in her presence made you feel comforted and secure.
She leaves to cherish her memories one granddaughter/daughter Rhonda Henderson of Huntersville NC. Two Great Grandchildren, Rhondrea Henderson, and Tylia Henderson of Huntersville NC. One Sister Sadie Pryor of Charlotte NC. Two special children Judy Pryor of Huntersville NC and Kevin Pryor (Stephine) of Denver NC. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews that she had the pleasure of raising along with her late sister Helen Pryor. They include Valerie Henderson, Sammy Pryor, Wardell Rivens, Carlos Jetton, Fredrick Henderson Jr., Demetrius Brown, Akita Brown, Tremetrius Brown and the late Kimberly Davis.

Siblings that preceded her in death, Helen, Henry, Willie, Sarah, Cornell, Vee, Bobby, and Ella.
