Anulus Jordel Donaldson, A beloved father, brother, brother-n-law, uncle, grandfather, cousin and friend, was born October 4, 1956 to the late Charles Donaldson Jr and Sallie Donaldson Nelson. Jordel, as he was affectionally called, received his early education in the Mecklenburg County Public School System. He graduated from North Mecklenburg High School in Huntersville, North Carolina in 1974. After graduation, Jordel spent a short time at Johnson C. Smith University, Charlotte, NC. In 1989 he met Sharline Beatty and they would begin a friendship which turned into a 30 year loving partnership. She became the love of his life. Together they had a son, Anulus Jordel Beatty. Jordel would go on to have two more children, Tori and Kevin. He loved his children dearly and spent time with them whenever he could.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his children, Anulus Jordel Beatty of Mooresville, NC, Tori Henderson of Stanley, NC and Kevin Ellington of Charlotte, NC, a devoted sister, Evelyn Lucas of Springdale, MD, Andrea Brandon-Hill, Charlotte, NC, brothers Vernon and Hubert Donaldson of Davidson, NC and Willie Donaldson of Salisbury, NC, grandchildren, Kristin Ellington, of Charlotte, NC, Raekwon Henderson and Danica Wilks of Stanley, NC, Alonte, Amir, Paxton and Marquis Beatty of Mooresville, NC, great grandchildren Kamari and Ja’rai Henderson, a niece, nephews, cousins and a host of relatives and wonderful friends. He was preceded in death by the love of his life Sharline Beatty.
