Arthur James Cherry

Mr. Arthur James Cherry was born March 20, 1953 in Iredell County, Mooresville, North Carolina to the late Rossie Lee Cherry and Beatrice Ford Cherry. He departed this life, August 28, 2018. He was preceded in death by one sister, Peggy Sue Davidson, and one brother, Roscoe Cherry. Arthur better known by his nicknames “Catfish”, or “Son” as many others called him worked different jobs throughout his life. He was full of life, and love for his family and friends. He was free spirited, and humorous. God gave him a unique infectious laugh that could cheer anyone up. We would ask mom, “Where is Arthur?” and her reply would be “Just be quiet, you’ll hear him.” There is no one that has met him who would be able to forget him.
