Barbara Ann White

Barbara Ann White was born on May 5, 1944 to the late Robert L. White & Marjorie White. She was called to her heavenly home on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Novant Hospital. She was also preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Shirletha Ann Nichols White.Barbara was educated in the school system of Mecklenburg County.Barbara was a dedicated member of Davidson Presbyterian Church in Davidson, NC. She sang in the gospel choir, mass choir and served on the Deacon Board. She also supported other auxiliaries of the church.She was employed by Hunters Village for 15 years as a domestic engineer . She worked different jobs until she found her niche. Her favorite pastimes included singing, traveling, and playing bingo.She leaves to cherish her memories her one and only son, Vincent Valentino White of Mt. Holly, NC; one grandson, Omarr Dukes of Charlotte, NC; two step grandson and two step granddaughters of Stanley, NC; and twelve great grandchildren with three being of Maryland. She also leaves one special aunt, Lela Johnson of Davidson, NC, a special friend Wayne Latter of Davidson, NC, and a host of relatives and friends.
