Mr. Benjamin Mason Jr.,born to the late Ben Sr. and Laura Wallace Mason on April 19, 1934. He was the third child of six to this union, William, John, Frederic, and Inell all deceased. He attended Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. On Jan 19, 1950 he married Dorothy Mae Glenn and to this union came seven children, one deceased daughter Darlene. He was a hard worker from delivering milk to a dump truck driver and retiring as a self-taught A1 Diesel Mechanic from F.T. Williams Co. for 30 plus years. He was a God-fearing servant that always honored the sabbath from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday. He praised and worshiped God even on is sick bed.“June” as he was affectionately called, loved his family and family vacations to Tweetsie Railroad and Washington, DC in the earlier years and then came Disney World, Six Flags over Georgia after we all grew up, that’s where we would take the grandbabies “all of them”. He loved to bowl and was very good at it and won many trophies.
