Bessie Arrellar Brice, a beloved daughter of the late Charlie and Wenner Graham, born on May 29, 1948, was called home Monday, May 1, 2023.
Bessie resided in Huntersville, NC. She was educated in the Mecklenburg County School System. She was a long time employee of Huntersville Oaks Nursing Home where she retired from in 2014. She came to Christ at an early age and joined Gethsemane Baptist Church.
Bessie was preceded in death by her brothers, Eddrew Massie, Mahdee Shaheed, and Marshal Ervin, and sisters, Lacy Gaston and Willie Mae Trapp.
She leaves to cherish precious memories her husband, John Wayne Brice; a son, Chad E. Brice; and one daughter, Aletta N. Brice of the home; six grandchildren, Marquita Brooks, Tevin Brice, Alonzo Brice, Aaliyah Brice, Chad Brice Jr., Hazlene Brice. She also leaves three sisters, Lovia Black (Thomas) of Sherrills Ford, NC, Rose Thompson, and Tina Black of Charlotte, NC; one brother, Charlies Graham of Charlotte, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
