Mr. Bobby Lane Cherry, our Powerful Prayer Warrior, Advisor, and Brother, was born July 12, 1951, in Iredell County, Mooresville, North Carolina, to the late Rossie Lee Cherry (Mr. Ross) and (Mrs. Bea) Beatrice Ford Cherry. He departed this life April 6, 2019, in his home in Davidson, North Carolina. Brother Bobby was preceded in death by one sister, Peggy Sue Davidson, brothers; Roscoe Cherry and Arthur James Cherry, and his lovely wife, Jessie Lee Cherry. Brother Bobby lived a rich and fulfilling life. He got joy in the success of others and always did what he could to encourage, help, and pray them through any situation. Bobby was a true disciple of Jesus Christ and believed fully in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He was an extension of God’s Hands, feet and mouthpiece in the earth. He believed what he spoke, and he spoke what he believed. He was a true disciple, sharing the Word in the highways, homes, hospitals, prisons, street corners - everywhere he went God was present.
