Bobby Renee Davis

Mr. Bobby Renee Davis, 81, son of the late Elizabeth Davis, was born December 16, 1936, in Davidson, North Carolina. He departed this lifeSunday, July 1, 2018, at his residence. Bobby was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Belk Davis, brother, Arthur Gene Davis, and grandparents, Mr. Hurdle Davis and Mrs. Mamie Davis. Bobby attended school at Torrence -Lytle High School in Huntersville, North Carolina, where he played on the football team. He worked at Belk's Furniture Department, in Charlotte, North Carolina, for many years as well as at General Times in Davidson, North Carolina for  many years. He was a member of and attended Davidson Presbyterian Church, Davidson, North Carolina, for many years. Bobby enjoyed fishing and telling "jokes", and making people laugh. He was awarded many certificates, especially the one from the National Park Service. The late Willie Gene Torrence and Alexander Torrence were two of his best friends.
