Mr. Carlos Fontana Jordan was born October 19, 1969 in Charlotte NC to Rowena Jordan Trapp and the late Raymond “Domack” Thompson (Peggy). He departed peacefully at home in Huntersville NC. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his sister Niki Jordan, brothers Titus Huntley and Mario Bertha, as well as his Grandparents.
Shorty, as we all lovingly call him, lived in Charlotte, Trinity Park, Huntersville and Statesville. He attended North Mecklenburg High School and became a skilled Master of all Trades. Always on the move, Shorty had a fascination with horses, race cars and motorcycles. He loved and is loved by so many and was never shy to tell his family and friends how much through a passionate delivery of his own choice words.
Shorty is survived by his fiancé Dana Holden; children, Jordan Simmons, Aaron Lester, Dy’Shon Patterson, Michael Ballard, Carter and Raymond Jordan; siblings, JaCourtney Watson, Gabriel Neal, Shemila and Javaris Black, Tabatha and Corey Butler; granddaughters, Roslynn and Symphony: a host of uncles and aunts, nieces and nephews, cousins and special friends.
Shorty will truly be missed and loved by many!
