Obituary
Carnell "Mr. C" Manning was born August 8, 1932, in Tabor City, SC to the late George Bellany and Ollie P. Manning. On Wednesday, March 8, 2023 God lovingly decided to call him home to rest.
Mr. C, as he was affectionately known, was educated in Tabor City schools. He worked for the City of Charlotte for 25 years and also had a 20 year career driving dump trucks. He accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior at an early age and could be seen reading his Bible on a regular basis. He was a member of St. John's Lodge No. 10.
Carnell was preceded in death by his Mother, Ollie; Sisters, Eva Smith, Odine Elliott, and Bonnie Monk (Winslow).
He leaves to cherish his memory, loving wife Wanda Manning; six children: five daughters Brinda, Sandra, Patricia, Constance, Angela and one son, Terry. He also leaves his bonus son, Shawan; nineteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends who love him.
Carnell will forever be remembered for his love of God, his fashion sense, and ability to make others smile/laugh.
