Charlisa Michelle Ponder

On Monday, November 4, 2019 Charlisa “Pooh” Ponder quietly left on a well-planned journey to her new heavenly home. In sweet peace she departed this life of 47 years. Ms. Charlisa “Pooh” was born June 20, 1972 to Thomas Reid and Vickie Ponder in Charlotte, NC. She received her formal education at West Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, NC and worked at North Lake House Assisted Living in Charlotte, NC. Charlisa ‘’Pooh” Grew up in the home of the (Late)Steve and Peggy Patterson in Charlotte. Pooh enjoyed vacationing, family gatherings as well as being a die-hard Cowboys fan.  Pooh had a Big smile and love for everybody genuinely. She had an immeasurable love for her one and only son (Cario) and Brother (Quent) they were her entire world. In addition to her nephews, nieces, and god children. She had a heart of gold and enjoyed life to the fullest. She is preceded in Death by- Beatrice Ponder (grandmother), Mrs. Dot Reid (Grandmother), Mr. David (Pop Reid) Grandfather, Florida Ponder (Aunt), Steve Patterson (Uncle) and Frankie Reid (Uncle) Charlisa leaves to cherish her precious priceless memories:  Mother Vickie Ponder (Biological), Father Thomas (Carolyn) Reid, One and only son DeCario Phifer (Kenisha) Brothers Quenton (Donika) Ponder, Reon Molutry, Reggie Johnson, Lewis (Robin) Patterson, Stevie (Lena) Patterson, (Step) Ivory Turner Jr. and one (Step)Sister Annette Turner.
