Courtney Cowan Obituary

Courtney Dione Cowan was born in to this world on April 12, 1986 at Iredell Memorial Hospital. He was married to Kyla Milosavljevic Cowan. He was the son of David Glaspy and Lora Robinson & Bishop Ronald Robinson. He left his earthly life for his heavenly home on Sunday, April 3, 2022.

He attended Mooresville High School. Courtney loved football and being with family and friends. He joined Bible Way Church at an early age where he played drums, ushered, and sung.

He was preceded in death by his dad Calvin Smyre, his brother Darius Q. Smyre, and his grandmother Lois Imes.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Kyla Cowan; sons, Darius Cowan and James Cowan; daughters, Lynzee Howard and Jaesyn Smith; brothers, James Smyre, Michael Robinson, and Ronald Robinson Jr.; sisters, Lavette Robinson (Chris), Ronnette Burks (Joseph),Ethel Lewis (Clarence), and Telka Robinson. He also leaves his loving grandparents Leroy Ellis and Betty L. Gardner; uncle, Rev. Timothy Bridges (Dwana); aunts, Crystal Fleming (Robert), along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
