Curtis Bishop Bryant, Curt, as he was affectionately known, departed this life unexpectedly Thursday, December 28, 2023 at his home. He was born on April 19, 1982 to the late James Andrew Bryant, and Mary-Lois Hayes.
Curtis was a working man with many jobs including Hardees, Food Lion, Madvapes, and also did some roofing with a few other side jobs. He enjoyed football, playing with his kids, and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed having a great 4th of July Celebration (possibly starting a fire a few times, but we took care of it!), a good friend turkey, and was always ready to pose for the camera. Vacationing was a constant joy of his, and he was always the life of the party. Curtis you will truly be missed and always know that you are loved.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Andrew Bryant, his grandparents Nathan & Mary Morrison and Bishop & Jessie Mae Bryant; his uncle Nathan Morrison; and nephew Dimoni Bryant.
Curt as he was humbly called leaves to cherish fond memories of his life, his mother Mary-Lois Hayes (Lawrence); two sons, Nathaniel Pendergrass and Curtis Bishop Bryant Jr.; a sister, Andrea Bryant; brother, Derrick Clark (Carla); an honorary brother Sydney Robotham; two aunts, Rosa Lee Bryant and Darlene Carruth (Bill); an uncle, James Sewell; and a great aunt Dorothy Blakely. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
