Damien Burney

Damien “Bay Boy” Burney Was born April 27, 1983, in Vallejo, California to Raymond Burney and Carolyn Bryant, at Vallejo General Hospital.He confessed Christ in 2013 and was baptized and united with Friendship Baptist Church, under the Leadership of Pastor Dante R. Quick, Ph d in Vallejo, California. He later united with Unlimited Love Ministries, Mooresville, North Carolina, and continued until his death. Damien was a very loving person who never met a stranger. Always willing to give a helping hand to whomever and whenever there was a need, expecting nothing in return. His heart was so big that he would give his last to anyone. Everyone was his family, blood or not, you were either his cousin or his “folks”. Damien was a hard worker, and worked at many jobs. He wasn’t afraid to try something new. He was known to many as “Bay Boy”. He had unconditional love for everyone, especially his family, always apologetic if he did something wrong.     Damien was loved and will be missed by many, especially his “Granny.” He departed from this life, September 28, 2019, in Mooresville, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard D. Williams and Katie Mae Robinson, his aunt, Agnes Robinson, cousins, Faylene Hill and Tameeka Carson. Damien leaves to cherish his memories: Father, Raymond Burney of Dayton, Ohio, Mother, Carolyn Bryant of Sacramento, California, Dad known as “Pops” Laron (Lisa) Jones of Vallejo, California; Brothers, Ron Keith Bryant, Charles (Kayla )Jones of Mooresville, North Carolina; Sisters, Chiquita Hendrix, Alisha Robinson and Natori Jones of Vallejo, California, and Shereese Robinson of Macon, Georgia; his loving Grandmother, Al Dorothy Bumpus of Mooresville, North Carolina, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
