Derek Jerome Hall

    Derek Jerome Hall, but known to many as Duncan or Tootsy, was born August 13, 1960 in Charlotte, NC to Shirley Hall Duncan Conner and the late Mark D. Duncan. He was called home to be with the Lord on November 30, 2021.

    He was preceded in death by his father Mark D. Duncan, and sister Sandy Stanback. Derek is a Charlotte native. He attended North Mecklenburg High School and worked at Lowes for several years. Derek was an artist at heart. He loved working on cars and model cars. He never met a stranger.

    He leaves to cherish his fond memories; his mother, Shirley Hall; sister, Kimberly Duncan; nieces, LaDiyon Duncan, Tyler Duncan, Tiffani Gerald; nephews, William Stanback, Sandi Stanback, Nicholas Duncan, Reginald Jordan; aunts, Willie Mae Morrison, Arlene Hall, Vera Young, Ada Jones, Paris Duncan, Kwepy Harrison; and a special friend, Bobbi Cureton.
