Donna Lynn Reid

 Donna Lynn Reid was born to the late Sarah Johnson and Ben Brown in Mooresville, NC on April 15, 1966. She entered into eternal rest on December 31, 2020 at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center.

She was educated in the Mooresville Graded School System. She was formerly employed by Draymore and then Genesis until her health declined.

At an early age Donna joined Bethesda AME Zion, was a member of Caldwell Chapel AME Zion and later on attended Shinnsville United Church of Christ in Troutman, NC. No matter which house of God she was in Donna loved singing, so she used her talent as a member of several singing groups. She was known for singing one of her favorite songs When I Think of The Goodness of Jesus.

She leaves to cherish her memories husband Willie Reid, son Clayton Reid, Mooresville, NC and a daughter Donya Reid of the home, and also  a  granddaughter Brooklyn Reid. Donna is also survived by sisters, Linda Pollard of Virginia, Rossiland (Darin) Westmoreland of Statesville, NC and brother Melton (Darlene) Johnson; Sisters in Law, Margaret Reid, Marjorie R. Sherrill and a Brother in Law Larry (Sandra) Reid; Aunts, Shirley Johnson, Betty Johnson, and Arlena Smith. She also leaves her Godchildren, Charqual Sherrill, Trina Cowan, Okeion Hughes, Sarenity Freeman & Marcquita Troutman; a Special Brother James (Tiny) Johnson, along with nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous of friends.
