Evelyn "Dude" Reliford passed away peacefully on Friday, June 15, 2018 at the Isabella Nursing Facility to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of eighty-two. She was born on April 8, 1936 in Huntersville, North Carolina to the late Lullabelle Sloan. She was predeceased by her husband, the late James Edward Reliford. Sister Reliford was a faithful member of The United House of Prayer for All People for over forty years where she served as an usher. She enjoyed reading her Bible, cooking, cleaning, sewing and taking care of children. Evelyn received her certification as a Home Health Aide and utilized her training to care for the elderly. Evelyn Reliford leaves to mourn her passing: her children, Sandra Reliford-Joye, Melody Reliford, Gwendolyn Sine, Gerald Reliford and Annette Toe; her siblings, Marcille Carr, Doris White, Vema Neal, Samuel Sloan, George Sloan, John Sloan, Ray Sloan and Clyde Sloan; twelve grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
