Felicia Yvette Massey was born in Cabarrus County on July 7, 1964 to James Massey and Mildred Phifer. She departed this life at University Rehabilitation Center in Charlotte, NC on Friday, February 25,2022 following an extended illness.
Lisa, as she was affectionately known, attended Mooresville High School.
She was a member of Bethesda AME Zion Church where she served on numerous boards including; the kitchen committee, the Usher Board in her younger years, the Youth Choir, an acolyte, and she was also a member of the Missionary Board. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend.
She leaves to Cherish the memories of her life , her loving son; Chavis Howard of Cherry Point, NC; five sisters, Jeanine Massey of Mooresville, NC, Annie Little, Rebeca Massey both of Troutman, NC, Tonya Massey of Mooresville, NC, and Frances Banks (David) of Kannapolis, NC; one brother, Taalib El-Bey (Deconti A. Massey) of Mooresville, NC; and one grandson, Jayden Brice Howard. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends especially her best friend Theda Knox.
