Fredrick Lincoln Martin

Fredrick Lincoln Martin, son of Michael Lynn Martin and Annette Sifford Martin of Mooresville, North Carolina. "Fred or Gramp"as he was known and called by family and friends, was born on January 14, 1980 in Salisbury, North Carolina. He was unexpectedly called to be with Jesus on July 1, 2018. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Gaston Sifford Jr, grandmother Ella Louise Sifford, great-grandmother Luedna Torrence, and his Uncle Earnest Norris Jr. who unexpectedly went to be with Jesus with him. Fred received his education in the Rowan-Salisbury School System. He graduated in 1998 from West Rowan High School, with many accomplishment. Fred loved and played Football (his favorite #4), basketball, and track from elementary to high school. He attended Mars Hill University for just a short period of time. He was previously employed at Food lion Warehouse for ten plus yeawrs. He was currently employed at BestCo. Fred joined BestCo in September 2007 as Material Controller. During his tenure with BestCo, he was promoted three times, including his recent promotion to his current position Distribution Supervisor. He was a "terrific co-worker who treated everyone like a friend" his job stated.
