George Allen Bailey

George Bailey died peacefully in Carolinas Medical Center on October 22, 2021 in Charlotte, NC at the age of 56. 

George Bailey was born on February 23,1965 in Mooresville, NC to the late Marshall Bailey and Betty Joyce Turner Bailey. He graduated from Mooresville High School. He married Cynthia Bailey in 2018. George worked for Templon Spinning Mills and Mooresville Roofing Company for several years. 

George Bailey was accomplished at repairing automobiles and you could often find him under the hood of family and friend's cars. He was a generous individual who loved life and who was passionate about loving his family. 

George Bailey is preceded in death by his parents Marshall Bailey and Bailey Joyce Turner Bailey, and grandparents Garland Turner Sr. and Mary Alice Turner. 

George Bailey is survived by his wife Cynthia Bailey, children George Bailey Jr., Jamiroquan Sturgis, Jerelle Bailey, and three children by marriage, Shana Sturgis, Sherron Sturgis and Shawn Sturgis. His siblings, Mary (Wendell) Bailey, Marshall (Sandra) Turner, Donald Bailey, Craig Bailey, Tracy Bailey, and Jeffrey Bailey. He also leaves 18 beautiful grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
