Geraldine Olivia (Lyerly) Winford

Geraldine Olivia Lyerly Winford, 74 of Cleveland, North Carolina, was born to the late James and Rosalee Tuck Lyerly on June 11, 1946 and departed her life Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Novant Charlotte Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte,NC. Mrs. Winford was a graduate of R.A. Clement in North Carolina and Bronx Community College of NY. She is survived by her husband Theodore Winford Jr., of the home, Kimberly Smith (Ivan) of Indian Head, MD, daughter; Jamie Winford (Gwen), Greensboro, North Carolina (son); Erika Winford of Boynton Beach, Florida, (daughter); Deborah Fleming of  Cleveland (sister);  William A. Lyerly, Whispering Pines, NC (brother), grandchildren; Cecelia Smith, Alexander Smith, Julian Winford, Nyshkia Ewing, and Ariel Ewing,  and a host of other relatives and friends. Service will be Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Salisbury, North Carolina at 11:00 a.m. Viewing at 10 a.m. Burial on Cedar Grove A.M.E. Zion Church at 12:30p.m.
