Harry Truman Sherrill Sr.

Harry Truman Sherrill Sr. was born March 29, 1946 to the late Mattie Goodson Sherrill in Iredell County, North Carolina. Harry traded his earthly life for his heavenly eternal home on November 16, 2024. He was met at the gates of heaven by his brother who preceded him in death, David Sherrill and grandson, Charlie Patterson III.

He was educated at Dunbar High School in Mooresville, NC and attended Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church in Cleveland, NC.

Harry was a loving father, husband to his wife Francella,  uncle, brother,  grandfather, as well as a friend to many. He enjoyed gardening and fishing. His greatest passion was loving and talking to people.

Harry leaves many loving memories to his six children; Danny, Angela (Doug) , Emily (Jim), Joyce, Harry Jr., and Robby (Sharmika); three sisters, Mary Davis Fetterson, Carolyn Hunter, and Nannie Patterson. He also leaves a host of grandchildren, nieces nephews, other relatives, and friends.
