Hugh "Jack" Deese, 73, of Moncton, NB. Canada, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024 at The Moncton Hospital. He was born in Charlotte, NC to the late Fred and Janie Bell (Graham) Deese. Jack was preceded in death by his ex-wife and friend, Linda Mason Runion and his siblings. Cora Bell Deese and John Deese.
Jack attended Northwest Cabarrus High School in Concord, NC and went on to study at Central Piedmont Community College as well as enlisted in the US Air Forue: Throughout his carver, he worked as a police officer and he worked many years as a Senior Risk Compliance Specialist with Compliance Concepts before relocating to Canada. There he worked at the Brantford Public Library in Ontario, Canada, He fosterod countless, long-lasting friendships throughout his career. Jack also enjoyed traveling, and his most memorable trips were to Alaska and Panama, where he met Patsy Lyons. They were married in Jamaica in May, 2007. To know Jack was to know the impact of living life fully and the lingering effects of contagious laughter.
Jack is survived by his wife, Patricia (Patsy) Deese; son Toussaint Deese, stepson Jordan Lyons-Mills, granddaughter Serena Lyons; brothers and sisters, Mae Deese, James Deese (Myra), Delores Black (William), Willie Deese (Carol), Emma Ovens (Frank), and Fred Dcese (Deidre); as well as his nieces and nephews: Shannon Coleman, Brandon Deese (Ashley), Mikayla & Mychal Doese, and Sophia Owens.
