James Edward Raeford

James Edward Raeford Sr. was born October 15, 1934 in Fayetteville, North Carolina to the late Fred and Leler Raeford. He transitioned from this earthly life to eternal rest on October 18, 2019. He confessed Christ at an early age and joined Gray’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church, and later joined Reeves Temple A.M.E. Zion Church in Davidson, North Carolina. He married the love of his life Daisy M. Raeford in August 8, 1959. He was a dedicated husband and father. He was preceded in death by his brother, Fred Raeford Jr., his sisters, Mae pearl Kirk and Mattie McLaughlin. He leaves to cherish his life and memories, a loving and devoted wife Daisy M. Raeford; two son’s James E. Raeford Jr. (Tatyana) of Harrisburg, Virgina, and Ron Raeford (Barbara) of Davidson, NC; a brother Rev. Anthony Raeford (Gretchelyn), a sister, Faye Toles (Evin), 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews cousins, and friends.
