Jerry Lee Davis was born into time April 23, 1937, to the late Richard Austin Davis and the late Bernice Heath. Jerry departed this life on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, after years of battling lengthy illnesses. He was the second of 13 siblings.
He was preceded in departure from this world by a brother named Joe, who died as an infant, then by both of his parents, following their death, Jerry lost two more brothers; Edward and Floyd, and four sisters; Thelma, Melissa, Martha Ann, and Edna. He is also preceded by a daughter, Maryland, and lastly, but by no means least a grandson, Billy Jr.
He leaves to cherish joyous memories, his beloved wife of 53 years, Ruth Virginia McNeely Davis, of the home; two daughters, Sandra Ann Jackson (Kevin) of Charlotte, NC and Debra Renee Webb (Larry) of Troutman, NC; four sons, Terry Davis (Texas), Tony Davis (Robin) of Davidson, NC, Bobby Davis (Anita) of Winston Salem, NC, and Jerry Bryan Davis, of the home; two sisters, Della Leach of Mooresville, NC, Angela Rankin (T.C.) of Mooresville, NC; also, three brothers, Sylvester (Terry) of Kannapolis, NC, John of South Carolina, and Jimmy (Tate) of Charlotte. He also leaves to cherish with fond memories a special granddaughter, Demetrius Renee Pittman (Jonas) of Mooresville, NC......
