Kanaan Eugene Donaldson

Kanaan Eugene Donaldson, 26, of Charlotte, NC was born on July 24, 1998 to Gary (Shenita) Donaldson and Loretta Donaldson. He departed this life on Saturday, March 23, 2025. 

Kanaan was a graduate of Hough High School and an avid lover of technology. 

Kanaan was preceded in death by his Great Grandmother Katie B. Rickett; Grandmother, Linda Donaldson; Uncle, Anthony (Big A) Rickett; Uncle, Jody Curtis Donaldson; Great Aunts, Rosie L Torrence and Pat Rickett; Great Uncles, Gary Houston, Donald Wayne Rickett, and James Harold Rickett; and two cousins, Allen J Ford, and Amber Rickett. 

Kanaan leaves to cherish memories of him; his daughter Kaniyah Hainsworth, age 2, of Charlotte, NC; an older brother, Jonel (Starnasia) Howard of Greensboro, NC; and one sister Katie Donaldson of Charlotte, NC. He also leaves a grandmother, Sandra L. Rickett of Charlotte, NC; great grandmother, Catherine Houston of Florida, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins.
