Kayla Tynise Griffin

Kayla, the daughter of Kendra Griffin and Fredrick Byers , was born May 12, 2002 in Rowan County, NC. Kayla peacefully passed away on March 16,2023 with her loved ones holding her hand every step of the way.

    Kayla graduated from North Mecklenburg High School on June 13, 2020. She later on became a Microsoft Office Specialist and received Employee of the Month. She was also a manager at a restaurant.

    She had a passion for traveling and seeing the world, she couldn’t wait to travel out of state any chance she got.

    Kayla was welcomed with hugs in her transcendence by her aunts, Erica and Antionette, and also her great grandmother.

    She leaves to treasure memories of her life; her mother, Kendra Griffin; brothers, Keaton Griffin, Keyantay Griffin, Kevin Griffin, and Demetrious Sherrill; sisters, Jakayla Byers, Ashli Byers; grandparents, Cynthia Ingram, Louis Luck, Angela Byers, and J.C. Byers; a nephew, Kentrell Griffin. She also leaves other relatives and friends.
