God saw the road was getting rough and the hills were getting hard to climb on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 3:48pm a gentle voice whispered, "Peace be thine". Mrs. Lillian Caison Reid was born March 22, 1935 in Iredell County, North Carolina to the late George W. and Annie Turner Caison.
She was a member of Reids Memorial Presbyterian Church were she served as an Elder. She was affiliated with the Elks and Eastern Stars.
She preceded in death by her husband Oscar Reid Jr., four sons Oscar Reid, III, Bobby, Arnold, Kevin Reid, and one granddaughter Sheka Aleryani, four brothers and two sisters.
Ms. Lillian as she was affectionately known enjoyed cooking and loved family gathering enjoying the music and during her shuffle dance. She said what was on her mind and how she felt about it. She will truly be missed.
She leaves to cherish her love Six Children, James (Oida) Reid, Dovie Reid, Pastor Selma & Bishop Kevin V. Lytle ,Sr., Quintin Reid, Eric (Jamie) Reid and Prophetess Vicky (Howard) Sherrill. One sister Louise Collins, Thirteen Grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and five great great Grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends.
