Miss Lillian China Williams, 98, daughter of the late Joseph Thomas Williams and Alberta Moore Williams, was born June 14, 1921, in Iredell County, North Carolina. She was called from this earthly life to rest peacefully alongside the Almighty God on Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at the Accordius Health at Mooresville. She was preceded in death by her son, Joe Allen Williams who passed away April 5, 2017.
Lillian hosted many jobs before retiring from BB&T Bank and Mooresville Savings and Loan in the Housekeeping Department. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church until her health failed her many years ago, making it necessary for her to enter a healthcare facility.
While in the facility one would think she ran the place – telling this one and that one what was right and what was wrong. She was a very loving and jolly person and respected by many at the facility. She loved her baby doll – who will be traveling on this journey with her.
She leaves to cherish fond memories of her life, three grandchildren: Tanya Kirk (Mario) of Mooresville, NC, Marco Wilson (Maria) of Mooresville, NC, Alexis Williams-Plummer (Darren) of Mooresville, NC and Allen Williams of Mooresville, NC; three great grandchildren, Mar’Cayla Wilson, Myah Wilson and Dallas Kirk all of Mooresville, NC.; one brother, Freddie Williams of Mooresville, NC, and adopted extended family, Aubrey and Margaret Campbell of Mooresville, NC. A host of other relatives and friends also survive.
