Matthew Lamont Morrison

Matthew Lamont Morrison passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 9, 2026. Matthew had an outgoing personality which was a joy to everyone he met. His smile and laughter would light up a room. Matthew was a brother, father, uncle and a friend who will be greatly missed. His nieces and nephews called him "Uncle Matt."

Matthew is survived by his son Brynnon Parker, sisters Vickie Campbell and Barbara Johnson (Tollis Johnson jr), nieces Jalanna Bell, Shirley Johnson, Jayda Johnson; nephews Jarel Bell, Samuel Johnson, Tollis Isaiah Johnson and great nieces Ivy Johnson and Stormi Williams.

Special family John Ervin Mills and William and Dot Turner and special friend Delores Robinson.

Matthew was proceeded in death by his mother Ruth Campbell Morrison, father Charles Franklin King, and brothers James Campbell and Wesley Morrison
