Mercedes Angelina Sloan, the daughter of Antonio Sloan and Sherri Johnson, was born March 3, 1992 in Charlotte, NC. She departed her earthly life on February 15, 2023.

    Mercedes attended Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. She worked for Arby’s. Mercedes was a soft spoken child, and she always had a smile on her face. She had a beautiful spirit, was always cheerful and smiling when you seen her.

    Mercedes leaves to cherish fun and joyful memories; one son, Jeremiah Marticee Sloan; her father, Antonio Sloan, her mother, Sherri Johnson; three sisters, Jasmine Johnson of Charlotte, NC, Dineesha and Zarhia Sloan of Dayton, Ohio; three brothers, Antonio Johnson, Aaron Carter, and Dontrell Jones all of Charlotte, NC; grandparents, Doretha Johnson, and Ivy & Denise Harvell; two great grandparents, Virginia Sloan, and Geneva Harvell, four aunts, Lashyondha Clark (Jonathan), Stacy Johnson, Sherleen Johnson, and Shawntee Johnson; six uncles, Talley Johnson, Timmy Johnson, Shawn Gabriel (Keisha), Ivy Harvell Jr. (Angela), and Travis Chilsom, and Vernon F. Sloan. And also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
