Minister Dorothy Glenn Mason

Minister Dorothy Mae Glenn Mason, born August 29, 1931 to the late John Glenn and Mattie Young Glenn Blakeney, she was their only child. She attended Third Ward and Second Ward schools in Charlotte, NC. At the age of 19 she married the Love of her Life, Mr. Benjamin Ray Mason Jr. on January 19, 1951 and to this union 7 children and 2 brand new homes were brought. She worked with her mother and aunts as a dry cleaner presser, an elevator operator with her cousins and sister in law, then retiring as a housekeeper.
