Mr. Parks Clinton Ross quietly passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 8:30 p.m. at Mecklenburg Health and Rehabilitation Center in Charlotte, NC following a heroic battle of various illnesses.Parks is the son of the late Cleo Jasper and Ola Louise Ross. He was one of ten children, born in Mecklenburg County but grew up and always lived in Huntersville, NC. Parks was educated in Mecklenburg County schools.He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. In his early years, he worked as a mechanic and later dedicated 32 years of service to Reeves Brothers Textiles.Parks was a hard worker, loving provider and the joy of his family and friends.He loved frying fish and dancing.He was passionate about watching sports – baseball, basketball and especially football.Before his arthritis kicked in, he loved shooting pool.He was involved in the community watch program for over 20 years. He will be missed most as you drive down Holbrooks Road and not see him waving from his porch.He lived with a natural love of God in his heart.
