Pastor Laura Lasandra (McKee) Roberts

Pastor Laura Lasandra McKee departed this life on Thursday, October 13th, 2022 @ her home in Colonial Ridge in Mooresville NC.

She received her faithful walk with Christ at a young age in the gospel at Bethesda AME Zion Church Mooresville NC, where she served on many boards and assisted where ever she was needed. Sister always had a song in her heart as she walked through many doors including Watkins Chapel AME Zion Church. Upon her eternal walk with Christ she was a faithful member of Congregational United Church of Christ, Mooresville NC.

Mrs. Roberts retired from Lake Norman Regional Hospital where she served working in the Environmental services (Hospitality) department for several years. She touched and changed many lives while being a servant of Christ there.

Mrs. Roberts was educated within the Mooresville NC city schools.

Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by both of parents and brothers Mr. Ronnie McKee and Mr. Larry McKee and one Grand-daughter (Brittany Newton).

Mrs. Laura Roberts (Sister) leaves to cherish her precious memories are son’s Milton L Houston (Robin) of Charlotte NC , Gino Houston (Mendy) of Mooresville NC and daughter’s Rachel Roberts of Richmond VA, Ann Wilson of Mooresville  NC, Tonika Roberts of Kannapolis NC, Brother - Jerry McKee Charlotte NC, Sister - Gloria Sellars Greensboro NC and One Uncle Mr. Sterling McKee Sr, Mooresville NC. 7 Grand - Children, and host of Great Grand Children, Nephews, Nieces and her BFF/Sisters in Christ -Mrs. Susie Beatty Gregory &  Mrs. Claudette Saunders Byers both of Mooresville NC.  Ms. Jacqueline Campbell of Wadesboro NC.
