Born a unique, kind, and very loving person on November 28, 1936 to the late Joseph Leon Lawson and Mildred Henderson Farrer in North Mecklenburg County, N.C. Peggy was released from her physical life to a spiritual life on May 5, 2021.
Peggy was preceded in death by her Husband Daniel F. Sisnett and her son Michael Sisnett.
At an early age, Peggy became a member of Davidson Presbyterian Church Davidson, NC. In 1956, she moved to N.Y. and became a member of St. Albans Presbyterian Church where she worked with children. In 1979, Peggy moved back to Charlotte and became a member of Memorial Presbyterian Church where she was also working with children.
Left to celebrate the beginning of her New Life are her brother, James Farrer (Essie Mae) of Hickory, NC; two sisters, Annie Donaldson of Corona, NY, and Odessa Laura Jean Jordan (Frank) of Davidson, NC, and a longtime friend Willie Fleming. She also leaves one special cousin, Vernie Neal-Anderson (James) of Kannapolis, NC, six nephews, and one niece.
