The boys were founding members of the New Life adolescent youth group, “Kings Kids”. Joining his circle of close friends later as a member of 7Hunnit was a cousin, Rashad Smith who mentored him, as they started their fledgling performance group at his great grandmother's house on Crabapple Tr.
