Robert Warren Washington Sr.

Robert Warren Washington, Sr. affectionately known as Jughead was summoned home on March 10, 2023. Born on August 15, 1957, in Brandywine, Maryland, Robert was the youngest son of 13 children to the late Leo and Susie Minerva Washington. Robert departed this life after a courageous battle with his health.

Robert received his early education in Prince George’s County Public Schools, and later pursued a career in the field of auto mechanic, restoring, and painting automobiles. Robert soon found a passion in trucking in which he became an entrepreneur. Robert left an impression with everyone that he met. He was strong willed and determined. He touched so many lives, especially with talking smack.

Robert was blessed with four children, Tamika Proctor, Robert Washington, Jr., Susie Gooden (Washington), and Mary Washington from his previous marriage to Wynne Washington. They also share four grandchildren, Arianna Tucker, Malcom Washington, Malakhai Burley, and Kamari Gooden.

Robert was later united in marriage to Cathy Washington on June 16, 2013. Throughout their marriage, they enjoyed each other by eating good food, watching tv, and going on a cruise. Robert didn’t play about his food! Cathy later became Robert’s caregiver until he passed.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents Leo and Susie Washington, Sisters, Maryrose Robinson, Martha Brooks, Ruth Washington, Margret Walker. Brothers; Joseph, Marcellus, John, and Charles.

Robert leaves to cherish his memory: Cathy Washington (wife), Wynne Washington(ex-wife); Three daughters, Tamika Proctor, Susie Gooden (Washington), and Mary Washington. One son, Robert Washington, Jr. Two grandsons, Malcolm Washington, and Malakhai Burley. Two granddaughters; Arianna Tucker, and Kamari Gooden. Four Sisters: Marian Washington, Gladys Battle, Agnes Smith, and Alice Long. A host of brother-in-law's, sister-in-law’s, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
