Mr. Roddy Disralei Rivens (Chaos Kid) was born on May 20, 1959 in Mooresville N.C. He departed this life to join his mother, Doris L. Rivens and his loving wife, Abigail Rivens on May 25, 2020.
Roddy touched the hearts of many. His laughter was a positive energy and he did not meet a stranger. He loved peoples and would do whatever he could to help anyone. Evidence of this is found in the many untold deeds that he done for friends and strangers. He loved his family and wanted nothing but the best for them.
Roddy Rivens graduated from Northwest Cabarrus High School in 1977. During high school, he met his best friend, Jeffrey Caldwell. To this day, they are brothers. They attended car racing, holidays, took trips, and family gathers together. They were inseparable. Roddy Rivens was the nucleus of Doris and Kenneth Rivens’ family. He attended Hunter’s Chapel Methodist Church of Cornelius N. C.
Roddy Rivens was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Rivens; his wife, Abigail Rivens; his brother: Anthony Potts. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his father: Kenneth; two daughters from Christina Wilson: Shequita Wilson and Pamela Wilson; one son: Raheem Cruse (Laura); four sisters: Robbie Watts, Anita Gayle Gordon, Joyce Rice and Sara Walker; four brothers: Keno, Wendell, Dwayne (Lindy), and Marvin Andre; five grandchildren: Mariah Weeks, Tydarian Wilson, Jada Mattocks, Rodjania Rivens, Carleigh Bell; a special friend: Tamika Black; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
