Sidney Kenyatta Ngoma

Sidney K. Ngoma was born on January 30, 1994 in Charlotte, NC. She departed this life on February 17, 2020 in Charlotte, NC. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Ngoma  and her maternal grandparents Robert (Bob) and Sylvia Sherrill.

Sidney attended Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools until her health declined, then she was home schooled.

Sidney received Christ at an early age and was baptized at Torrence Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church. She served diligently as a Bud of Promise, member of the Youth Missionary Society, Young Adult Missionary Society, Junior Usher Board, and the Christian Education Department. She was also a former member of the Stroller Singers.

Sidney leaves to cherish her fond memories, her loving mother Mary Gabriel (Tina) of Charlotte, NC; a loving uncle, Carlton Sherrill of Cornelius, NC; a stepmother, Precious Ngoma of Charlotte, NC; her godmother Treva Watts of Cornelius, NC. She also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that loved her dearly, along with an awesome Godfather, Leon Cornelius.
