Steplan Purnell Gray

Mr. Steplan Purnell Gray (Step) was born on November 26, 1986 in Mecklenburg County to Laverne Jetton Gray and Eddie C. Gray Sr (Tracy Gray).  He went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at his residence.

Steplan was educated in Mecklenburg County School System. He went to elementary school at Hidden Valley Elementary School, Northeast Middle School where he played Football (position wide receiver # 64) and he graduated from Zebulon R. Vance High School in 2006. 

Steplan Worked at UPS in Charlotte, NC and he also worked Detailing vehicles with Mike Thompson here in Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories: His loving mother Laverne Jetton Gray, Eddie C. Gray Sr (Tracy).   Brother, James E. Jetton of Grovetown, GA (Mercedes), sister, Lakisha Perry of Charlotte, NC (Travis), brother Eddie C. Jr of Dallas, TX; sister, Trache’ Gray of Charlotte, NC; Two nephews Tyriq Jetton of Grovetown, GA, King Perry of Charlotte, NC, and one niece Journey Perry of Charlotte, NC.
