Susan Ann Stevenson, 66, was born in Iredell County on September 21,1958. She was the beloved daughter of the late John and Lonnie Mae White. She entered into rest on May 13, 2025 at her residence in Cincinnati, OH.
She attended Iredell Co Schools and was a long time member of St.John Baptist Church. She worked at Lancaster BBQ in Mooresville, NC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her four brothers Lonnie, Billy, Charles and Stanley White, and sister Mae (Poochie) Thomas and her late husband Reggie Stevenson and grandson Deshawn Stevenson.
Susan leaves to cherish her memories: Sister Brenda (Top) Lowe of Statesville, NC, Brother Benjamin Rankin of Statesville, NC and four children Gary (Noky) White, Aric Stevenson, Nickey Stevenson and Leddon (Man) Stevenson her daughter in laws Kristi Stevenson and Jade Stevenson. She also leaves behind her grandsons Devin Stevenson, Erick White, Dante (Doo) Stevenson and Zack White; immediately nieces and nephews Tiny Thomas, Cody White, Travis White, Tasha White, Charles (Junebug) White, Joni Bailey, Lonnie White, Stanley White, Nico White, Mike-K Obeby and a host of nieces and nephews.
In her free time she enjoyed gardening, she had a passion for old school music, watching movies, fashion, sports, cleaning, cooking, interior decorating and making people laugh. She loved to tell jokes. She found her greatest happiness with her dog “Peanut” and granddog “Mattie”.
Susan's life was a testament to love, hard work, resilience and selflessness. Her warmth and kindness will remain a beacon of light for all who knew her. She was inspiring, full of wisdom, and will deeply be missed by her family.
