Teresa Cephas -Ward

Teresa Cephas-Ward, 51, resided in St. Petersburg, Fl was born on February 3, 1971 in Salisbury, NC to Lloyd and Stella Cephas.  She transitioned to her forever home on March 7, 2022 at Saint Anthonys’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Fl.

Teresa attended public school in the Rowan-Salisbury school district.  She pursued her higher education at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College in machinery.


Teresa was married to Dyonete Ward on October 14, 2016. She took on a career path at the VA Medical center working in various departments until her retirement at 33.  Following she transitioned into the food industry in the Pinellas County School district where she touched many souls with her motherly spirit to all the children.  Since working there she became the CEO of Bottom 2 Top Property’s while assisting her daughter at NaturallyComplete919, LLC.

Teresa always held high spirits and was loved by so many leaving lasting impressions in all their hearts. She is survived by her father Lloyd Cephas(St,Louis MO) and mother Stella Cephas(Raleigh, NC), her loving husband Dyonete Ward(St. Petersburg, Fl) and mother-in-love Judy Givens and father-in-love David Ward. She was the youngest of seven siblings, leaving behind David(Donna) Cephas(Key West, FL), Page Cephas(Portland, OR), and Helen Cephas(Birgmingham, AL); brother-in-lawsAnthony Givens Jr., and sister-in-law Latonya Givens. Birthing two children she leaves Theresa(AJ) Cephas(Raleigh, NC), and Tony Hunter(Texas) and a host of bonus children whom she acquired over the years. Lastly, she has three grandchildren Aaliyah and Tristen McMillian, and Ivryanna She leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, bonus children and grandchildren.
