Tony Pernell Shipp

Tony Pernell Shipp, 58, of Mooresville, NC was born June 3, 1963, to the late Allice Shipp Vanderburg and the late A. V. Stewart. Tony gained his wings on April 8, 2022.

Tony was employed at NGK Ceramics of Mooresville, NC. He was a graduate  of Mooresville Senior High School. He enjoyed sports, music and was and lifelong fan of the DALLAS COWBOYS

Tony is survived by his girlfriend of many years, Theda Knox. Three children: Antonio McCorkle (Kyna) Mooresville, NC, Chambrea Knox, Mooresville, NC, and Shania Shipp, Charlotte, NC. Two sisters: Robin Trapp (Charlotte, NC), Sharon Shipp (Gary), Landis, NC, four brothers: James Shipp Sr. (Ethel), Alexandria, VA, Jerry Shipp Sr. (Cheryl), Gambrills, MD, John Shipp, Concord, NC, Ray Shipp (Baltimore, MD), five grandchildren. Three other children that Tony treated as his own:  LaRon, Chitara, and Marquis. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and many others.
