Mrs. Toy Louvenia Brooks Houston, 75, was born on January 1, 1943 in Iredell County, NC to the late Nettie Hooper Stockton and Vanderbilt (Bill) Brooks. She departed this earthly life on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Aurora of States Nursing Facility in Statesville, NC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Houston, and siblings Harvey and Lewis Stockton.Toy was known and loved for her kindness to others as well as her sense of humor. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all that truly loved her.
