Mrs. Veronica Lowery Howard was born on May 11 ,1955 in Iredell County North Carolina to Mr. Louis Gene and Mrs. Annie Mildred Mayhew Lowery. She was one of seven children. She received her wings on Tuesday, January 23, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her father Mr. Louis Gene Lowery, her brother Mr. Lewis Lowery, grandparents Mr. William B. Stewart and Ms. Sudie (Lowery) Lather and Mr. Johnnie (Minnie) Mayhew, nephews Mr. Gercobe McClain, Mr. Jenara Davis, niece Mrs. Karlanita Gaston and god-father Mr. Joseph McClain
She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She never met a stranger. She worked serving people her entire adult life as a Care Taker. She was loved by all she worked with. She gave her life to Christ at a very young age, and she loved working in God’s Vineyard. She was a dedicated member of Davidson Presbyterian Church and served on the Gospel Choir.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
She leaves to cherish her wonderful memories to her beloved mother Mrs. Annie Mildred Lowery of Davidson, her, daughters Camillia (Todd) Withers, Cameeka Howard, Catrina Cason, and son Cedric Howard, all of Charlotte NC, fourteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, five sisters LaGretta Neal, Johnsie (David) Beatty of Davidson, Brenda (Tollis) Johnson, Agnes (Marcus III) Rivens and Mary Black all of Charlotte NC, god-mother Mrs. Erving McClain of Davidson NC and god-brother Mr. Todd McClain of Charlotte NC and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
