Mrs. Virginia Foster Hall, daughter of John Foster and Margaret Lytle, was born in North Carolina on September 9, 1938, and departed this life on Monday, June 9, 2025.
While living with her grandmother, Annie Thigpen, and attending Morris Hill Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC she met the love of her life and best friend, Connie Hall. They would marry in 1955, and some years later moved their family to Mooresville, NC where they built their family home in which she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Standing steadfast in her faith, she remained an active member of Morris Hill Baptist Church where she served as Mother of the Church, Deaconess, Missionary, and Chair of the Kitchen Committee. She was a woman of many passions including cooking, fishing, gardening, and later in life, her grand, great, and great great-grandchildren.
She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her husband of 70 years, Connie A. Hall; two daughters, Angela H. Alexander of Hanahan, SC, Sonya H. Noble (Harold) of Trinity, NC; five sons, James E. Hall (Yvette) of Charlotte, NC, William A. Hall (Brenda) of Charlotte, NC, Kenneth B. Hall (Priscilla) of Mooresville, NC, Quinton T. Hall (Alice) of Mooresville, NC, and Connie (Pete) A. Hall (Angela) of Anderson, IN; one beloved sister Bernice Tate of Charlotte, NC; a beloved brother in-law James (Boo) Hall (Jean) of Charlotte, NC; a special great-granddaughter Mackynzi McCoy of Mooresville, NC; 18 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
